Developer, Digital Asset Management

We are looking for a forward-thinking developer to be vital part of the development process within the Digital Asset Management team in BESTSELLER TECH, contributing with strong C#/.NET and React competences to cover the full development stack. 

YOUR TEAM
You will become part of a self-organising and international high-performing agile team of 10 highly skilled cross-functional colleagues in our Digital Asset Management team, who are located across our locations Aarhus, Malaga and Kigali. The product vision of the team is to help BESTSELLER create great digital experiences with media sharing and marketing operations with a focus on digital assets (pictures, videos, 3D and more) and marketing automatization.  

Fast fashion is our industry, and we focus on servicing the range of independent brands that are part of BESTSELLER. This leads to us having a very dynamic and fast-paced working environment. As our industry and many others are moving towards digitalization, our team has a key role in bridging, enabling, and servicing our internal and external (asset & data) consumers.

YOUR JOB
Your primary responsibility will be to participate in the creation and design of systems to support the product vision. This could be both on a simple prototyping basis or enterprise-ready, scalable, and highly reliable global solutions running on our public cloud providers. Based on the you build it, you run it principle, you take ownership and responsibility over these products together with the rest of your team. 

Your main tasks will be: 

  • Designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Helping maintain code quality, organisation, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Implementing and improving monitoring and alerting.

YOUR PROFILE
As a person, you have a strong desire to learn. You are naturally interested in new technologies, and you enjoy working in a systems landscape with many moving parts and a focus on constantly delivering immediate value. You are always on the lookout for ways of bringing our business forward.  

Being part of a small, agile team, it comes natural to you to share your knowledge and to inspire and support your colleagues. With your critical eye and sense for detail, you deliver quality code, take ownership, and feel accountable for the team’s results.

QUALIFICATIONS
You have experience and/or interest in taking responsibility over the full stack of your team’s products and their lifecycle management. From coding the actual solution to talking directly to our customers’ technical teams and representatives - and anything in between such as quality assurance, deployment, and release management.
We are looking for a new colleague with a broad set of development and technical skills, but we are primarily looking for someone with experience within the following areas:

  • Minimum 3-5 year of hands-on experience in C# with a good knowledge of the .NET framework
  • Experience with frontend web development using technologies such as React and Typescript
  • Knowledge of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • Experience with fundamental services of cloud providers such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or others
  • Experience or knowledge in implementing testing platforms and unit tests
  • Good English skills both verbally and written.
