IT Business Analyst, Supply Chain

Location:

Brande, DK, 7330 Haderslev, DK, 6100

Does working in the intersection between IT, logistics and transportation management spike your interest? If you’re also motivated by forming your own role and driving implementation projects in a fast-paced environment, then you may be just the one we are looking for.

At BESTSELLER, we are in the process of implementing a range of new best-of-breed supply chain management systems in order to support the continued growth and continually support our brands with the best tools for supply chain execution and insights.

To succeed in this, we are looking for a new colleague dedicated to supporting the implementation of a transportation management system (TMS) and a multi-carrier parcel shipping system (MCSS).

The team
Taking on the role as IT Business Analyst, you will join a new team focused on implementing and integrating TMS and MCSS. We are a central part of the IT Logistics organisation, and our overall objective is to ensure that BESTSELLER Logistics is supported by best-of-breed systems and processes, when it comes to transportation and to obtaining visibility of the flow of goods – from supplier to customer.
We work closely with other IT teams as well as our counterparts and stakeholders in Logistics, and during implementation, we work with consultants from leading vendors within TMS and MCSS.

The job
You contribute directly to the team’s overall objective, which will require you to work not only with TMS and MCSS, but also in the cross field between multiple other systems, such as our custom-built ERP system, warehouse management systems (WMS), EDI and BI tools.

More specifically, your tasks include:

  • Taking part in implementing new systems and processes in specific logistics- and transportation-related areas
  • Taking part in implementing integrations between TMS/MCSS and surrounding systems
  • Taking part in TMS/MCSS vendors’ implementation of EDI to carriers
  • Taking part in supporting and remodeling/redesigning BESTSELLER’s Oracle-based ERP focusing on transportation features
  • 2nd level support on ERP, TMS & MCSS systems
  • Assisting the BI team and Logistics in building a supply chain control tower.

Your profile
We are looking for an independent and self-motivated individual, who is up for the challenge of shaping and building this new role within our IT Logistics organisation.

More specifically, we are looking for the following qualifications:

  • Experience from a position working with TMS, WMS and/or ERP systems
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Finance is preferred, alternatively similar competencies acquired in other ways
  • Experience from working closely with logistics or shipping functions in a company
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to working
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Danish.

We are open to different professional backgrounds, so we hope to hear from you, whether you are an experienced consultant with extensive ERP, WMS or TMS experience, or a super-user from within the logistics and transportation area looking to continue your career in IT.
You could also be a recent graduate with at least a couple of years’ experience from the ERP or WMS consulting business, who can contribute with a significant drive and strong academic insights.

We look forward to hearing from you
If you have any questions about the position, you are welcome to contact Jørgen Vestergaard on +45 52 15 40 69. Otherwise, please send us your CV and application as soon as possible. We review applications on an ongoing basis and are aiming to fill the position as soon as possible.

Location: Your primary base will be our office in Brande, but we expect you to spend 20-40% of your time in our distribution centre in Haderslev or working in projects on other locations.
