We are looking for a new colleague to join the Logistic Technical Support team, which supports our distribution centers with all things IT/OT. We offer a versatile role, focused on ensuring a stable and high-performing IT/OT operation and excellent support to our end users. 
 

YOUR TEAM
You become a part of the Logistic Technical Support team, which is a team of four. Together with around 35 additional colleagues, we make up a unit within BESTSELLER TECH that focuses specifically on the IT/OT setup in BESTSELLER Logistics. Our team is based at our distribution center in Haderslev, where we provide on-site and remote support to our colleagues not just in Haderslev, but also on our other logistics sites, e.g.  Taulov, Fredericia and Herning. 
In our team, we value a constructive dialogue, where you can speak your mind and bring new ideas to the table. The environment is agile, and we are constantly reviewing, optimizing and developing our IT/OT solutions to enable our business to perform.

YOUR JOB
You become the in-house IT expert for our logistics organisation. Consequently, you will be responsible for IT/OT systems and hardware at our distribution facilities, with tasks ranging from setting up a monitor, supporting scanners, working with key vendors and IT/OT Security, to designing, implementing and documenting a complete solution.
IT/OT Security and high availability are very high priorities, and as our new System Engineer, you will have a key role in driving this, so ensuring strong IT/OT standards and demonstrating a proactive mindset is important.

In addition, your responsibilities include: 

• Setup and support on hardware/software for the overall logistics operations  
• Handling printers, scanners, servers, PCs, network and the software used to run a large-scale logistics operation 
• Building, improving and using monitoring tools 
• Advising the logistics management on any new initiatives within your area of expertise 
• Analysis, selection and implementation of new hardware and software
• Close collaboration with vendors. 

YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for IT’s equivalent of a Swiss army knife; someone with a broad set of IT skills within PC, server, network, infrastructure etc. More specifically, we are looking for a profile with:  

• Relevant IT experience, e.g. as On-site Consultant, IT Engineer, IT Supporter or equivalent
• Experience with logistics is an advantage, but not a requirement 
• A relevant IT education or equivalent experience
• The ability and desire to take ownership and work self-driven and independently 
• A desire to acquire new knowledge and skills, as you go along
• Solid documentation skills
• A proactive mindset
• Fluent Danish and English competences, spoken and written.
