Accountant (m/f/o)
Slovenia

Responsibilities:

• Independently recording and booking incoming invoices, as well as reconciling creditor accounts
• Managing the booking of bank accounts autonomously, and undertaking the reconciliation of both domestic and foreign debtor accounts
• Overseeing weekly direct debit procedures
• Performing ongoing account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
• Handling customer administration tasks
• Managing the dunning process and monitoring bank guarantees
• Independently allocating costs to the appropriate accounts or projects
• Collaborating in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Creating and evaluating monthly financial analyses

Qualifications:

• Completion of a higher commercial education
• Experience in the accounts receivable department of an international company is considered as an advantageous
• Very good Excel and system skills, experience with SAP is a plus
• Strong analytical skills
• A pragmatic, proactive way of thinking and acting
• Organizational skills with experience in setting priorities as well as meeting deadlines
• A problem-solving orientation, attention to detail, a hands-on mentality and good cooperation and communication skills are essential
• Excellent language skills in both Slovenian and English are necessary
