Credit Controller (m/f/o)
Slovenia

Responsibilities:

• Performing financial analysis, developing detailed business models and assisting the management team in decision-making
• Processing incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data
• Preparing and sending out invoices to customers
• Reconciling the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Facilitating swift payment of invoices due by sending reminders and contacting clients with outstanding accounts
• Generating financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
• Resolving any discrepancies or irregularities identified in accounts
• Maintaining and updating customer files to ensure accurate record-keeping
• Collaborating with the sales team to manage credit applications and assess customer creditworthiness
• Taking care of dunning process
• Assisting with month-end closing processes and audits as needed

Qualifications:

• College or bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Proven working experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar roles
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Proficiency in English and Slovenian and in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft NAVISION
• Hands-on experience with accounting software and databases
• Ability to work independently and as part of an international team
• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as good communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of Slovenian accounting regulations is a plus
