YOUR TEAM
By joining our AI Fashion Planning team, you will be at the forefront of developing state-of-the-art AI solutions for some of BESTSELLER’s most strategically important projects within demand planning and inventory optimisation. Our work has a high focus on delivering value to our brands and we are working in a hypothesis-driven manner to always test out ideas and directly measure the impact of our solutions. 

AI is a key part of how we work in AI Fashion Planning, and it’s accelerating. We are looking for data scientists with real habits and judgement on AI agents, modern developer tools and their effective application in a data science setting. We do this because we want to learn faster, verify better and ship high-quality data science products, not because we want more code quicker. 

YOUR JOB

• Develop and implement advanced machine learning models for demand forecasting and inventory optimisation.
• Analyse large datasets to extract meaningful insights and inform business strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver effective AI solutions.
• Continuously research and stay updated on the latest AI and machine learning technologies relevant to fashion recommendations.
• Present complex data and results in a clear and understandable manner to stakeholders.

YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for an experienced data scientist with significant developing and shipping data science products for real use cases and solving real business cases. More specifically, we’re looking for the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
• 3-5 years of post-academic experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer.
• Proven experience in machine learning, predictive modelling, and data analysis.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience in Databricks.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
