Are you passionate about building reliable data pipelines and scalable infrastructure that powers online growth? Do you want to work at the intersection of fashion, technology, and data in a fast-moving global company? Then join our Partner Tech Team in BESTSELLER E-commerce as our new Data Engineer.

At BESTSELLER, we’re on an exciting journey to strengthen our E-commerce data foundation — ensuring seamless integrations, reliable data flow, and real-time insights that support our marketplace business across the world.

ABOUT THE TEAM
You’ll join our specialised Partner Tech Team — a small but highly skilled backend team within BESTSELLER E-commerce. Together, we design and develop the data services and integrations that enable our brands to grow across marketplaces.
We work closely with brand and business specialists to translate commercial needs into robust technical solutions, ensuring that data flows efficiently across platforms and systems. Our environment is dynamic, collaborative, and built on trust and curiosity.

YOUR ROLE
As Data Engineer, your main responsibility is to design, build, and maintain the pipelines and infrastructure that ensure smooth and reliable data flow across BESTSELLER’s systems to support our marketplace business. You’ll work with modern cloud technologies and streaming frameworks to create scalable, automated, and high-performing data solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows to support integrations across platforms.
  • Managing and optimising data storage and transformation in Snowflake, Kafka, and other cloud environments.
  • Ensuring data integrity, reliability, and security in both batch and real-time pipelines.
  • Collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and developers to enable scalable and automated data processes.
  • Using SQL and Python for pipeline development, testing, and monitoring.
  • Setting up and maintaining Git-based CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
  • Proactively monitoring system performance and troubleshooting potential issues.

WHY JOIN US?
At BESTSELLER E-commerce, you’ll be part of an international team where fashion meets technology. You’ll have the freedom to shape solutions, influence architecture, and make a real impact on how we scale our marketplace business globally.
You’ll join a culture built on trust, collaboration, and curiosity — where we encourage knowledge sharing, challenge each other, and celebrate our wins together. We offer flexibility, room to grow, and the opportunity to work with the latest tools and technologies in data engineering.

YOUR PROFILE
You bring a structured and solution-oriented mindset to your work and thrive in a team that values collaboration, learning, and innovation. You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and are motivated by solving complex challenges that create tangible business value.

We imagine you bring:

  • Experience with SQL, Python, and DBT for data workflows.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS) and modern data architectures.
  • Familiarity with streaming technologies, such as Kafka.
  • Comfort with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
  • A curiosity to explore new technologies that improve integrations and data flow.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU
