Are you a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer passionate about driving efficiency, scalability, and reliability in data-driven and AI-powered solutions? 

At BESTSELLER, we're seeking an experienced engineer to join our dynamic Merchandising Solutions department. You'll play a key role in developing and maintaining the infrastructure behind APPRETIO, our flagship platform transforming retail and e-commerce through advanced analytics and AI.

YOUR TEAM
You will be an integral part of a dynamic team within the Merchandising Solutions department, a group of over 20 AI, data and Tech enthusiasts driving the merchandising agenda at BESTSELLER. The department consists of over 20 professionals across data science, engineering, and application development, dedicated to delivering innovative and robust solutions in retail and e-commerce. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and developers to ensure seamless integration, reliability, and performance across our infrastructure and systems.

YOUR NEW ROLE 
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll take technical ownership of our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud deployments. You'll work closely with other DevOps engineers to build and maintain environments that empower efficient, secure, and stable application and data development.

Here is a glimpse into your tasks:

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated deployment pipelines using tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitHub Actions.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to maintain the reliability of our AI-driven applications.
  • Lead infrastructure security initiatives, ensuring compliance with best practices and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with backend and frontend engineering teams to streamline the development process and improve deployment cycles.

YOUR PROFILE  
You are an experienced DevOps professional passionate about automation, cloud infrastructure, and agile methodologies.

Furthermore, we imagine your expertise includes:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure and services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Terraform, and infrastructure as code.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
  • Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Strong scripting abilities (Python, Bash, or similar).
  • Excellent communication skills, able to effectively collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

The following qualifications would also be advantageous:

  • Familiarity with data engineering and AI workloads (Databricks, Snowflake, Kafka).
  • Experience in managing scalable, high-performance AI and machine learning deployments.
  • Certification in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and relevant DevOps tools.
