Shape the everyday experience of growth – where it matters most
Imagine stepping into a role where your work shapes how thousands of people grow – from store managers and warehouse colleagues to specialists and senior leaders. Where your contribution strengthens performance today and helps shape BESTSELLER’s talent for tomorrow. You will join a warm, informal and ambitious team that cares deeply about creating meaningful development – not just for those in the room, but for people across our entire business.

THE TEAM YOU’LL JOIN
The role sits in BESTSELLER’s global HR function, PEOPLE, and more specifically the People Development department – a curious and impact-driven team with a passion for development that works in real life. Together, we create experiences that support growth across levels, brands and borders – from shop floor to leadership team. This is done together in the team with colleagues from our internal Academy and Digital Academy.

YOUR ROLE
You will take the lead in scaling and embedding our ‘Growth Management approach’ – BESTSELLER’s take on continuous development and performance. The concept has been built in close partnership with colleagues across PEOPLE, and now we are ready to move from process to daily practice.

You will play a key role in making sure the approach works in real life – especially in parts of the business where people lead large teams, juggle daily operations and rarely sit behind a screen.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Continue implementation and drive ongoing anchoring of Performance Management for office-based colleagues
  • Extending the reach of Performance Management to new areas of implementation – beginning with retail, logistics and service functions.
  • Supporting HR Business Partners and leaders in applying the approach in ways that make sense locally
  • Designing and implementing simple, useful tools and learning formats that make development part of the everyday
  • Ensuring digital accessibility in close collaboration with our HR systems team (incl. SuccessFactors)
  • Contributing to succession planning and talent visibility by linking development to future needs
  • Strengthening our leadership pipeline and supporting long-term people growth

WHAT YOU BRING
This role is about turning strategy into something people actually use. We are looking for someone who can create structure, build trust and support development in settings where time is short – but potential is high.

We imagine that you:

  • Have 5+ years of experience driving leadership development, performance or learning processes – ideally in a Specialist or HR Business Partner role.
  • Have led cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders and touchpoints in a large, international and complex organisational setup
  • Have experience creating solutions that resonate with employees in stores, warehouse or service functions, where time, tools and learning culture often differ from the office
  • Are familiar with the annual HR cycle – including development planning, goal setting and performance follow-up
  • Feel confident advising and enabling leaders at all levels – from store managers and warehouse leads to HR Business Partners and executives
  • Experience from a retail-driven environment is considered an advantage, but not a requirement

WHY JOIN US?
At BESTSELLER, we own our impact. This means you will not just get the chance to design solutions – you will also shape how people experience growth, leadership and career progression in their day-to-day. You will work with people who care about creating value through people – and about helping others see a future for themselves in our business.
