You will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining the infrastructure behind APPRETIO, our flagship AI-powered platform transforming merchandising processes across Retail, Wholesale, and E-commerce. 

YOUR TEAM  
You'll join our dynamic Merchandising Solutions department, comprising over 20 highly skilled professionals, including data scientists, software engineers, and application developers. Our team thrives on collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning, united by a mission to deliver state-of-the-art analytics and AI solutions that empower BESTSELLER's global operations. Your primary workplace will be at our vibrant office in Aarhus.

YOUR NEW ROLE
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will take technical leadership in evolving our cloud-based infrastructure, automated deployment pipelines, and operational practices. Your work will empower developers and data scientists with reliable, secure, and efficient tools — and have a direct impact on the scalability of our AI-driven solutions and data-informed decision-making across BESTSELLER.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS) using infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm (Kubernetes)).
  • Developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and other modern tools.
  • Implementing comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Leading infrastructure security initiatives to comply with best practices and industry standards.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (backend, frontend, data engineering) to streamline workflows, improve development cycles, and deliver continuous improvements.

YOUR PROFILE  
You’re a seasoned platform or DevOps engineer with a passion for automation, infrastructure, and high-performance systems. You thrive in agile, collaborative environments and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in managing cloud infrastructure on platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
  • Strong proficiency with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK stack).
  • Excellent scripting skills (Python, Bash, or equivalent).
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
