Apply for Job
At BESTSELLER, we don’t just work with data—we own it. Every challenge. Every choice. Every chance to make an impact.
We're looking for a Data Engineer to join our B2C eCommerce Analytics team and help us take our data capabilities to the next level. If you enjoy turning raw data into smart decisions and like the idea of helping people work smarter with simple, scalable tools—you’ll feel right at home here.
What’s the role?
We’re in the middle of a transformation. Right now, we’re maintaining a robust AWS Redshift setup while gradually building a modern, scalable data mesh powered by Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow.
As our new Data Engineer, you’ll have a hand in both. You’ll help us run what works today—and reimagine what could work better tomorrow. You’ll build data products that power day-to-day decisions across our brands, countries, and teams.
What you’ll be working on
- Keep our current eCommerce data warehouse (Redshift) running smoothly
- Support the migration to Snowflake, using DBT and Airflow to build new pipelines
- Design and build scalable, future-ready data products and pipelines
- Work closely with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to turn business needs into data solutions
- Improve performance, data quality, and reliability across the board
- Apply and uphold data governance, privacy, and security best practices
- Contribute to documentation and continuously evolve how we work
- Stay curious—bring in ideas, tools, and methods to keep us sharp
What you bring with you
We’re looking for someone who’s both practical and forward-thinking. You know how to ship clean, useful data—without losing sight of the big picture.
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow (or similar)
- A solid grip on data modeling, pipelines, and data architecture
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- A collaborative spirit—you’re at your best when building something together
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar (but real-world experience counts just as much)
Your team
You’ll join our Data & Analytics department—a diverse team of 50+ curious minds who believe that great data leads to great decisions. Specifically, you’ll be part of the B2C eCommerce Analytics team, focused on turning data into impact for our consumers, markets, and brands.
We’re not afraid to ask questions, challenge each other, and rethink how things are done. If that sounds like you, too, we’d love to meet you.
What’s in it for you?
At BESTSELLER, we give you the space to grow and the trust to take ownership. Here’s what you can look forward to:
- Freedom to shape your role and how you work
- 37-hour work week
- A hybrid working model (at least 2 office days) and flexible hours
- 27 holidays, possibility to buy 5 optional extra days + flexible bank holidays
- Healthy daily lunch at the office
- Discount across all BESTSELLER brands
- OpenUp for your wellbeing with psychologists, lifestyle and career coaching
- Fit for less benefit
- Health insurance allowance of 150€ per month, or be part of the collective health insurance
- Relocation and visa support if needed
- Room to grow—professionally and personally
Why BESTSELLER?
Because we believe there’s no one-size-fits-all way to grow a career. You’ll find freedom here—freedom to explore, learn, and make your mark. Whether you want to deepen your skills or branch into new areas, we’ll support you every step of the way.
We are BESTSELLER. And together, we own it.
