Apply for Job
At BESTSELLER, we own every challenge, every choice, and every chance to build something better. Right now, we’re growing our Data & Analytics team, and we’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who’s excited to help shape the future of our tech platforms.
If you're someone who sees opportunity in complexity, builds with curiosity, and wants to work in a place that feels like a team, keep reading.
What’s the role about?
As our next DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a key part in building and running the data platform that powers insights across all of BESTSELLER’s brands. You’ll join a close-knit Platform Team within our 50-person D&A department, where engineers, scientists, analysts, and designers all work together to unlock the value of data.
You’ll get to:
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for deploying data apps and services
- Keep our cloud infrastructure running smoothly and securely
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to deliver clean, reliable pipelines
- Monitor systems (using tools like DataDog) and jump in to solve issues fast
- Use tools like Databricks, Snowflake, Kafka, DBT to make data flow effortlessly
- Work with Terraform to define infrastructure as code
- Bring your ideas and your curiosity—we’re building this together
What you bring with you
We’re not expecting perfection. But here’s what would help you hit the ground running:
- You’ve worked in DevOps or Platform Engineering, especially in a data-heavy environment
- You’re hands-on with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- You’re familiar with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and infra-as-code
- You can script and automate in Python, Bash, or similar
- You enjoy working in teams, solving real problems, and learning from others
The tools we work with
- Cloud: Azure (mostly), but we value cloud-agnostic thinking
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions, CircleCI
- Infra: Terraform, Kubernetes
- Data: Snowflake, DBT, Databricks, Kafka
- Monitoring: DataDog
Who you’ll work with
You’ll join a newly formed Platform Team of two passionate engineers, part of a 50-person D&A department full of curious minds. We work from Amsterdam, but collaborate globally with tech, product, design, and e-commerce teams across Europe. We share ideas, fail fast, and challenge each other to build what’s next.
What you get
We want people to own their journey. So here’s what you can expect:
- Freedom to shape your role and how you work
- 37-hour work week
- A hybrid working model (at least 2 office days) and flexible hours
- 27 holidays, possibility to buy 5 optional extra days + flexible bank holidays
- Healthy daily lunch at the office
- Discount across all BESTSELLER brands
- OpenUp for your wellbeing with psychologists, lifestyle and career coaching
- Fit for less benefit
- Health insurance allowance of 150E per month or be part of the collective health insurance
- Relocation and visa support if needed
- Room to grow—professionally and personally
