Position: Senior Team Leader – NOOS Operations
Reports to:
Distribution Center Manager
Schedule: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Salary: Between 48k and 60k

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As a Team Lead – NOOS, your role is to keep essential products always available through tight inventory control and smooth daily operations.

 

Team Management & Operations:

  • Frame, motivate, and support a team of handlers dedicated to NOOS operations. 
  • Plan and distribute daily tasks to ensure the continuous availability of goods. 
  • Train the team on work methods, quality standards, safety, and efficiency. 
  • Monitor volumes, operational priorities, and processing times. 
  • Adjust resource allocation in real time based on Canada/USA urgencies and volume fluctuations. 
  • Track individual and collective performance KPIs and implement continuous improvement actions. 
  • Manage critical operational situations (order pickups, delays, shortages) by making quick decisions. 
  • Serve as a technical reference on operational tools (WMS, ERP, PDA). 

 

Inventory Management & Stockout Prevention

  • Control the inventory levels of NOOS products and take action to prevent stockouts. 
  • Ensure the accuracy of entries, exits, and adjustments in real time. (Inventory accuracy) 
  • Participate in inventory cycles and audits focused on NOOS styles. 
  • Analyze discrepancies and collaborate with the inventory team to correct them quickly. 
  • Anticipate stockout risks by analyzing consumption trends for the Canada and USA markets. 
  • Identify recurring anomalies (discrepancies, location errors, picking errors) and drive corrective actions. 
  • Supervise internal reports and verify the consistency between operational needs and actual availability. 
  • Conduct express audits in critical areas during volume increases or suspicious discrepancies. 

 

Logistics Flow & Quality

  • Monitor the reception, storage, and replenishment of NOOS merchandise. 
  • Process internal orders, returns, and transfers related to NOOS styles. 
  • Ensure careful preparation and handling to maintain a minimal error rate. 
  • Communicate with carriers for tracking supplies and merchandise. 
  • Ensure strict adherence to unit picking processes for orders in Canada and the USA. 
  • Optimize the flow of merchandise in the NOOS area to reduce downtime and unnecessary movements. 
  • Coordinate with quality control to correct product or packaging anomalies before shipment. 

 

 

Administrative Support & Communication

 

  • Keep the NOOS reports up to date (volumes, productivity, inventory discrepancies, performance). 
  • Clearly communicate priorities, directives, and operational issues. 
  • Work closely with internal teams (inventory, transport, management) to ensure the smoothness of all operations. 
  • Ensure the updating and reliability of data in the systems (WMS, reports, dashboards). 
  • Prepare detailed reports for supervisors regarding the performance of NOOS operations. 
  • Centralize feedback from the team and propose continuous improvements to existing processes. 

 

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Solid experience in team management in a distribution center or logistics environment. 
  • Excellent stress management and ability to quickly resolve unforeseen issues. 
  • Positive leadership, good communication, and great adaptability. 
  • Exemplary rigor and attention to detail—essential in NOOS. 
  • In-depth knowledge of safety standards and best operational practices. 
  • Ability to communicate well in English as the role requires servicing Canada and the United States. Therefore, it is necessary to be able to communicate in English with various parties. 
  • Possibility of staying overtime depending on the flow of operations. 
  • Ability to analyze volumes, identify priorities, and adjust resources in real-time according to the flows in Canada and the USA. 
  • Proficiency in logistics tools (WMS, RF scanners, dashboards) and ease with performance reports. 
  • Good computer knowledge (Excel, Power BI, Word). 
  • Proven ability to manage operations with a high level of accuracy, particularly in unit picking. 
  • Ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and optimize NOOS processes. 
  • Strong autonomy in decision-making during critical situations or peak activity periods. 
  • Developed sense of preventing stockouts and good understanding of issues related to NOOS inventory. 
  • Collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively with inventory, transportation, and supervision teams.
