YOUR ROLE
You will play a pivotal role in shaping our platform's future by focusing on developing and maintaining shared components and building high-performing applications.
We hire for attitude and train for skill, so your most important qualifications will be your interest and drive within the software development field.

As a Software Developer in our Shared Solutions team, you'll have the chance to:

• Design, build, and optimize reusable software components and libraries to streamline development across BESTSELLER. 
• Collaborate with other engineers and architects to define component specifications and integration strategies. 
• Champion component reuse across the organization, promoting its benefits and providing technical support to other teams.
• Stay at the forefront of technological advancements, constantly learning and exploring new possibilities within the field.

YOUR PROFILE
What matters most to us is your curiosity and eagerness to explore and work with the software supply chain. You are comfortable working independently as well as part of a team and have strong problem-solving skills. Your collaborative spirit and passion for technology, combined with the following qualifications, will make you fit right in:

• Expertise in Java development, object-oriented programming principles, and design patterns. 
• Experience with Spring Boot; familiarity with GraalVM and optimization for containerized environments is a plus. 
• Experience working with distributed systems and microservices, ideally in an event-driven environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail. 
• Strong communication skills (written and spoken English). 
• Enjoys fun and positive work environment, values collaboration, innovation, and laughter.
