Apply for Job
As Pattern Specialist, you’ll act as a technical specialist and trusted partner, supporting suppliers and internal teams to achieve stable, reliable quality and fit throughout product development and production.
YOUR TEAM
You’ll be part of BESTSELLER’s Global Sourcing organization, working closely with merchandising, quality and supplier teams across functions. We rely on strong pattern expertise to ensure our products meet defined quality standards — and to continuously improve how we work with our suppliers and partners.
YOUR ROLE
Reporting directly to the Quality Assurance & Quality Control Manager, you’ll take ownership of pattern and fit standards across assigned suppliers and product groups. You ensure requirements are clearly understood, correctly applied and consistently followed — from sample development through production.
You work hands-on with suppliers, quality teams and merchandisers to identify risks early, support problem-solving and strengthen quality processes. You don’t just point out issues — you help fix them and prevent them from happening again.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Fit approval: Reviewing samples to guarantee correct fit, balance, and proportion.
- Pattern grading accuracy: Ensuring size sets are graded consistently across product ranges.
- Risk identification: Spotting issues in shrinkage, fabric behavior, or construction during early development.
- Supplier process support: Translating fit and pattern standards into clear, workable SOPs.
- Technical training: Delivering workshops on fit, grading, and construction for suppliers.
- Corrective actions: Following up on fit comments and ensuring adjustments are implemented.
- Continuous improvement: Driving supplier performance improvements in fit and accuracy.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Acting as the link between suppliers, QA/QC, and merchandising teams and Head-Quarter.
YOUR PROFILE
You are structured, detail-focused and confident in your technical judgement. You enjoy being close to production and understand how small details impact overall quality. You communicate clearly, work independently and take responsibility for your area.
We imagine you bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Garment Technology, or Pattern Making (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5–8 years of experience in pattern technology, garment fitting, grading, or technical production.
- Strong knowledge of pattern development, grading, garment construction, and materials.
- Experience collaborating with suppliers and quality teams.
- A calm, solution-oriented approach to challenges.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- A hands-on, ownership-driven mindset.
WHAT WE OFFER
- A specialist technical role with clear responsibility and impact
- Close collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams
- A culture built on trust, responsibility and continuous improvement
- Opportunities to deepen your technical expertise
- A dynamic environment where quality truly matters
