We are looking for a well-organized and experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage all government-related documentation and formal communication with authorities, embassies, and external stakeholders. The PRO will ensure smooth regulatory compliance, timely processing of employee and company requirements, and official representation with government departments.
Responsibilities
Government Relations & Compliance

Liaise with UAE government departments (MOHRE, GDRFA, DED, Municipality, Free Zones, etc.) and act as the company’s official representative.

Manage all activities related to immigration, labour, municipality authorities, and company licensing (applications, renewals, cancellations, amendments).

Oversee visa processes for employees and families, including health insurance, Emirates ID, and sponsorship.

Handle attestations, legalizations, Ejari, tenancy contracts, civil defense certificates, and related permits.

Maintain compliance with UAE Labour Law, Immigration Law, and free zone regulations, ensuring timely documentation and accurate records.

Ensure solid knowledge of relevant authorities, procedures, and documentation specifically in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, with expertise in their individual requirements.
Employee Services

Support onboarding and offboarding (medical tests, visa stamping, cancellations).

Guide employees through government-related processes and coordinate with embassies/consulates when required.
Coordination & Communication

Build and maintain strong relationships with ministries, embassies, free zones, and semi-government bodies.

Provide regular updates to management on new regulations and policy changes.

Collaborate with HR, Admin, and Legal on staff-related legal and immigration matters and support audits or inspections.
Qualifications & Requirements
-
2–5 years of proven experience as a PRO in the UAE.

Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, visa, immigration, and licensing processes.

Experience working in a retail business in the UAE, with in-depth knowledge of the legal and procedural requirements for the setup, establishment, and ongoing management of corporate branches and licensing.

Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).

Valid UAE driving license (mandatory).

Established network of contacts within government departments.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to independently track expiry dates (licenses, visas, etc.), raise flags in due time, and act proactively.

Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with UAE government portals (MOHRE, GDRFA, ICP, Free Zones).

High level of discretion in handling confidential information.
