We have gone through a transformation over the last years - and our journey is not over yet. We’re growing our team and looking for a Development Manager to take the lead in optimizing, developing, and maintaining our processes in BESTSELLER Logistics.

YOUR DEPARTMENT AND ROLE
As Development Manager, you become part of our Global Operations department, which is responsible for all our warehouses, planning processes, and the interplay between our people, systems and technological facilities. Your  primary responsibility is to continuously develop, optimize and align our processes, and facilitate the best practices in our logistics setup, systems and concepts.
Your responsibilities include: 

• Taking the lead in developing new business solutions and procedures while securing the right capabilities, processes, systems, and organisational setup to deliver on the strategic goals.
• Managing stakeholders – from managers in the Logistics Operations department to colleagues in BESTSELLER’s TECH organisation and external vendors of the technology we have in our warehouses, who are all important in making best practice become reality.
• Driving digitalization and optimization initiatives to balance workloads and keeping the organisation effective with a high service level across all areas.

Your focus will in the beginning be centred on the operations from our distribution centre in Haderslev. An international dimension will be added in the coming years, as we are soon starting the construction of a new distribution center in the Netherlands.
We are investing in our development capabilities across our global Logistics function, which means that we at the same time are looking for a Development Manager in both our Strategic Projects department and in our Flow of Goods department. You will have a strong collaboration with the other development managers in building the best solutions for BESTSELLER across departments.

• +5 years of experience driving processes optimisations in the intersection between people, systems and technology in a logistics or production organisation
• Strong skills in managing stakeholders across Operations, Planning, and IT.
• An educational background within logistics, supply chain or production is preferred. 
• Fluent in Danish and English – written and spoken.
