As a Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the overall financial operations and accounting activities of BESTSELLER office in Lahore.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the transition of finance operations in Pakistan, ensuring independence and compliance with Bestseller’s global finance policies.
  • Develop localized SOPs, internal controls, and audit readiness frameworks tailored to PK operations.
  • Act as the key contact for SAP S/4HANA rollout, training, issue resolution, and digital tool adoption (SAP Fiori, S2B).
  • Manage vendor master data, invoices, and payments while maintaining vendor relationships and compliance with procurement processes.
  • Prepare and process regular payment batches, ensuring documentation accuracy, timely execution, and adherence to monthly cutoffs.
  • Maintain financial records, digital archives, and audit documentation for internal and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with local banks, financial institutions, tax consultants, and legal advisors for payment processing and regulatory compliance (WHT, VAT, etc.).
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts, budgets, and financial reports; ensure timely submission to headquarters and regulators.
  • Monitor payment cycle efficiency, vendor performance, and financial KPIs through dashboards and trackers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial documentation with actual deliveries, services, and budget availability.
  • Support audit processes (internal, statutory, and corporate) by ensuring accurate documentation and timely reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement through SAP analytics, automation tools, and proactive issue resolution across all finance workflows

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping (experience within the garment industry or liaison office is an advantage).
    • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
    • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, financial systems (SAP preferred), and general accounting principles.
    • Proactive attitude with attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team; open-minded, energetic, and collaborative.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with vendors, banks, and internal teams.
    • Good organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to meet deadlines.
