We are looking for a PEOPLE Business Partner to take responsibility for executing engaging and progressive PEOPLE initiatives to attract and retain our talented team in our office functions in the UK.  

Our Team 

We are a small but mighty team of four PEOPLE generalists who pride ourselves on getting stuck in and meeting our team ambitions. We include our Head of PEOPLE, Retail Business Partner, Office Business Partner and PEOPLE Administrator. We thrive as a team by having a shared goal to create a fantastic experience for our talented colleagues at BESTSELLER.  

 

About You 

An excellent opportunity for a HR advisor ready to step into a Business Partner Position, or a Junior Business Partner hoping to continue their development. We expect at least 5+ years’ experience in the PEOPLE function.  

  • Passionate about people development, engagement and wellbeing  

  • Proactive, collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset 

  • Self-motivated, who would enjoy the ‘freedom with responsibility’ approach at BESTSELLER 

  • Team player and excellent interpersonal skills, who is focused on building strong relationships and trust across our local & global business  

  • Hands on approach, no job is too big or small to take on  

  • A curiosity and agility to learn more from internal/external networks, industry research and legislation 

 

Your Role 

You'll be the go-to person for our office function colleagues. Partnering with our leadership teams and local/ global PEOPLE teams to implement a successful PEOPLE function for your unit. 

 

  • Partnership: build strong relationships with our leaders and colleagues, ensuring efficient collaboration and alignment of business units to drive current and future PEOPLE initiatives. 

  • Strategic Support: support the strategic lead of the UK PEOPLE Plan and is responsible for the implementation in the office functions.   

  • Talent Management: responsible for recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and career development. 

  • Employee Engagement: drive engagement through bi-annual surveys, data analysis, management training, and development of new initiatives to increase engagement. 

  • Wellbeing and Inclusion: lead wellbeing, diversity, equity & inclusion initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work environment. 

  • Data-Driven Decisions: track and analyses key PEOPLE data statistics, metrics, and reports, providing insights to leadership. 

  • Comprehensive Support: provide end-to-end generalist support, including ER case management, processing monthly compensation and benefits, support on health and safety, and digitalization of PEOPLE processes.
