We’re looking for a Tax Specialist to join the BESTSELLER South HUB in Málaga, someone who combines deep tax expertise with systems understanding, strong accounting foundations, and the ability to operate effectively in an enterprise environment.

OUR TEAM

At BESTSELLER’s South HUB, we manage finance operations across Spain, France, Italy, and Portugal in a fast-paced, international environment. Here, tax is not treated as a silo, but as an integral part of the wider finance function and business ecosystem, closely connected to how the organization operates and makes decisions.

We are building a team of specialists who combine strong technical tax expertise with a broader perspective, professionals who link tax with accounting and systems, challenge and improve existing processes, and act as true partners to the business rather than just function-specific experts.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

This is not about ticking boxes or just filing returns, this is about owning tax processes, improving them, and making sure they work in a complex, multi-country setup.

You will:

• Take ownership of VAT, SII, Intrastat, and tax compliance across several countries 
• Manage withholdings for employees, freelancers, and professionals
• Ensure everything is accurate, compliant, and audit-ready
• Act as a key contact for audits and tax-related topics
• Work closely with accounting to ensure tax and finance are aligned
• Collaborate with systems and other teams to improve processes and automation (SAP or similar)
• Identify inefficiencies and challenge the way things are done
• Translate tax into something clear and usable for stakeholders

WHO YOU ARE

Let’s be honest: you either love tax, or you don’t.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience in tax and/or accounting, ideally in an international or enterprise environment
• Understands VAT and indirect tax beyond the basics
• Sees how tax connects with accounting, systems, and business operations
• Is comfortable working with ERPs and data (SAP is a plus)
• Can manage stakeholders without overcomplicating things
• Communicates clearly especially when things are complex
• Has a mindset of ownership, improvement, and curiosity 

Fluent English is a must. Other languages are always a plus in our environment.
