WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Senior Accounts Payable Technician, you will be responsible for the complete management of the accounts payable cycle, monthly reconciliations, accounting close, adherence to internal controls, and employee and client satisfaction.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Organize and maintain records for audits.
  • Verify accounts daily by reconciling statements and transactions.
  • Process a high volume of invoices, matching them to purchase orders, verifying details, scheduling disbursements, and obtaining payment approvals.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and strengthen relationships.
  • Prepare general ledger entries, record account transactions, perform analyses, and utilize accounting software and Excel for reporting and modeling.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, including full-cycle Accounts Payable experience.
  • AEC, DEC or DEP in accounting / finance or equivalent.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel (mastery of VLookUp functions and pivot tables).
  • Skills in organization and prioritization.
  • Great attention to detail.
