Do you enjoy turning data into insights that help the business leaders making intelligent business decision?
Are you motivated by improving processes and making complex information easier to use?
And do you want to work on digitalization and data-driven initiatives that add value to the supply chain?
YOUR TEAM
You’ll join BESTSELLER’s Business Development team within our Global Sourcing organisation. We work closely with colleagues across sourcing, buying, and supply chain functions to support smarter decision-making through data, digital tools, and well-managed projects.
Our focus is on improving transparency, developing digital ways of working, and ensuring the business has access to reliable, easy and ready-to-use insights. We believe strong data, clear processes, and good collaboration are key to delivering results — and we take ownership of making that happen.
YOUR ROLE
As a Business Development Assistant, you’ll support and drive initiatives that improve how data, processes, and digital tools are used across the supply chain. Your role combines business understanding with data, reporting, and project coordination — always with a practical and solution-oriented mindset.
You’ll work hands-on with business intelligence, reporting, and process improvement activities. You’ll help ensure that data and insights are accurate, transparent, and available to the right stakeholders, while also supporting the implementation of new digital tools and ways of working.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Developing, maintaining, and optimising business intelligence and reporting solutions, including Power BI dashboards
- Supporting digital initiatives and new ways of working in the supply chain, such as Power Apps, AI and other tools
- Analysing business processes and data flows to support better transparency and decision-making
- Coordinating tasks and projects to ensure timely delivery within agreed scope and priorities
- Ensuring data quality, consistency, and correct use of master data across reports and systems
- Supporting documentation, maintenance, and updates of reports, dashboards, and databases
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to understand needs and support the adoption of new tools and processes
SUCCESS CRITERIA
- All given projects are successfully completed according to the demands from the business in a sustainable form and within given timeframe.
- New and valuable activities and tools are being developed, implemented and followed up on.
- Good cooperation between you, the team, and our stakeholders.
- You have proved an understanding of the business and are therefore able to give relevant sparring and support.
- Work performance is recognized by upper management.
- Positive feedback from collaborated teams.
- Acting as a good team player and colleague according to BESTSELLER’s founding principles.
YOUR PROFILE
You’re analytical, structured, and curious. You enjoy working with data and processes, and have great interest in finding practical solutions that make things simpler and more efficient. You work independently, take ownership of your tasks, and communicate clearly with others.
We imagine you bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, IT, data analytics, or a relevant field
- 1-4 years relevant experience with data, reporting, business intelligence, or project coordination
- Hands-on experience with SQL and Power BI or similar reporting and visualisation tools
- Knowledge about data warehouse solutions like Snowflake or similar tools
- A good understanding of data quality, master data, and structured reporting
- Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative way of working
- A structured and detail-oriented approach
WHAT WE OFFER
- Hands-on involvement in digital and data-driven supply chain initiatives
- Opportunities to develop your skills within business intelligence and process improvement
- A collaborative working environment where ideas and initiative are valued
- A culture built on trust, ownership, and continuous improvement
- The chance to contribute to smarter, more transparent supply chain operations
