YOUR TEAM

You will join BESTSELLER’s Materials Management team in Shanghai Office, working closely with sourcing teams, suppliers and global stakeholders.

You will collaborate across regions and functions, partnering with sourcing teams, R&D, and suppliers to drive fabric development and implementation.  

 

YOUR ROLE

 As Materials Management Specialist, you will be responsible for well developing and maintaining fabric library project to support the business teams of Asia region. Maintain good cooperation with suppliers/mills

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Daily management and communication with business team for fabric developing/sourcing requirement;
  • Update fabric library hangers on essential and seasonal hangers in time with Asian sourcing offices;
  • Fulfill the making of trend books with cooperation with R&D team;
  • Organize the meetings between fabric suppliers and business teams to get update and new development;
  • Closely communicate with DK responsible regarding sustainable material project
  • Work out essential fabrics for consolidation across the brands from sourcing part;
  • Timely update with business team regarding market and raw material update;
  • Support and involve the claim settlement with strategic fabric mills with business team/garment suppliers.

 

YOUR PROFILE

You are structured, analytical and confident navigating complex supply chains. You understand materials, certification systems and supplier realities — and you know how to align them.

We expect that you:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Have more than 3-5 years of experience on hand technical experience within materials management, responsible sourcing or supply chain transparency
  • Possess solid knowledge of fabric development and material production processes
  • Are comfortable working with data, reporting tools and system platforms
  • Communicate clearly across cultures and stakeholder levels
  • Take ownership and drive follow-up consistently
  • You are business-minded, proactive and motivated by building structured, transparent systems.
  • Driver of Business Performance Improvement – you have a proven track record of KPI improvements based on fact-based analysis or benchmarking.
