Position: Team Leader 

Reports to: Assistant Manager, Distribution Center 

Schedule: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm 

Salary: Between 42,000$ and 52,000$ annunally

What you’ll do:

As a Team Leader, your main goal is to ensure the smooth daily operations. Your key responsibilities include: 

• Frame and encourage a diverse team of handlers and agency staff. 
• Organize daily activities to achieve production and quality objectives. 
• Train the team on work methods, safety, and best practices. 
• Effectively utilize human and material resources to optimize operations. 
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards by communicating clearly and providing regular reports. 
• Manage conflicts and resolve internal issues within the team to maintain a positive and productive work atmosphere. 
• Monitor, analyze, and address the individual and collective performance of the team to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate action plans. 
• Deadline tracking: Supervise and control delivery timelines to ensure commitments are met. 
• Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, operations, EDI) and external partners (carriers) to ensure seamless delivery. 
• Ensure that delivery information (dates, times, statuses) is continuously updated in internal systems. 
• Ensure smooth communication between team members and management to guarantee that important information is shared quickly and effectively. 
• Oversee proper inventory management by collaborating with other departments to avoid inventory imbalances. 
• Ensure the implementation of continuous improvement processes, involving the team in initiatives aimed at optimizing productivity and reducing costs. 
• Take charge of welcoming and integrating new members into the team, ensuring they are well trained and quickly integrated into their roles. 
• Ensure effective management of planning and tasks, taking into account absences, leave, and other constraints to maintain an optimal team at all times. 
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols by supervising work procedures to minimize accident risks and guarantee a healthy work environment.

• Strong organizational skills and priority management to optimize time and ensure tasks are completed efficiently. 
• Natural leadership with a strong ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve performance and quality objectives. 
• Ability to manage diversity within the team, understand different personalities, and resolve conflicts constructively. 
• Proactivity and autonomy, with the ability to anticipate issues and make decisions quickly when necessary. 
• Strong analytical and adaptability skills to adjust processes and strategies based on changes and challenges encountered in the field.
