Position: Retail Construction Project Manager, JACK & JONES
Reports to: Country Retail Director, JACK & JONES
Location: USA (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania)

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Visual Merchandiser at JACK & JONES & JJXX, you will be responsible for executing merchandising plans, implementing retail activities, and ensuring each store delivers an inspiring customer experience. You’ll collaborate with store teams, track performance, and ensure the effective use of visual tools to create visually impactful spaces that support the growth of the brand.
PLAN & DELIVER RETAIL SPACES
- Oversee end-to-end project management for new store builds, remodels, and closures across various markets.
- Identify and evaluate potential store locations from a structural and strategic perspective.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align construction goals with brand expectations.
- Lead project kickoff meetings and track milestones through to handover.
DRIVE EFFICIENCY, COST CONTROL & COMPLIANCE
- Ensure accurate project budgets and timelines, monitoring costs to prevent overruns.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with general contractors, architects, and vendors.
- Implement standardized construction processes and best practices across all projects.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and quality regulations throughout the construction process.
- Conduct on-site inspections to verify progress and adherence to project scope.
- Coordinate the successful handover of completed sites to Retail Operations teams.
- Manage the resolution of post-handover deficiencies with urgency and professionalism.
PARTNER ACROSS THE BUISNESS
- Collaborate with Retail Design, Operations, IT, and Visual Merchandising to ensure cohesive store rollout.
- Act as the key point of contact between headquarters and field contractors.
- Work closely with Leasing and Real Estate teams to align construction with expansion strategy.
- Provide construction updates to senior leadership and other key stakeholders regularly.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of construction project management experience, preferably in retail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, multi-state environment.
- Expertise in budget control, cost tracking, and vendor negotiation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to lead cross-functional teams.
- Working knowledge of construction codes, ADA, and safety regulations.
- Ability to interpret architectural plans and technical documents.
- A vehicle and valid driver’s license, ability to travel locally within the United States.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the U.S.
