We are looking for a passionate and experienced Denim Designer to join our team at NOISY MAY.

THE ROLE 
As Denim Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our brand, translating your creative vision into captivating DNA drives designs. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Denim and the Design Manager, offering strategic input on the creative direction for denim. In this position, you will be involved in every stage of the design process, from initial concept to the final product. Working alongside the denim team, you will ensure that our products are continuously developed and optimized to meet current denim trends and maintain high quality. Each year, you will contribute to the development of 6–8 main collections, along with additional express collections. 

More specifically, your role includes:  

• Leading the denim design process, ensuring that all collections align with the brand identity  
• Staying informed on market insights and innovations within the fashion industry  
• Leverage and present data-driven insights to stakeholders 
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, such as buying, sales, fitting, and design teams, while also working closely with external suppliers to build strong connections both within and outside NOISY MAY 
• Participate in inspiration trips, supplier and customer visits, and sales meetings, while presenting new styles

YOUR PROFILE 
A passion for fashion and denim, along with a strong understanding of trends, collection building and a strong understanding of brand DNA are key to successfully driving our design vision. You thrive in a dynamic environment where your creative approach, combined with a detail-oriented mindset, allows you to develop new designs and trends. As we are a small team, it is important that you naturally take the initiative and make independent decisions. At the same time, you are a team player who leads by example, shares knowledge, and contributes to collective success. You excel at collaborating with various stakeholders, both internally and externally. 

Along with that, you bring: 

• A degree in Fashion Design or a related field 
• Strong experience within denim and fashion 
• Knowledge of the international fashion market, including consumer behaviour and brand positioning 
• Experience in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign 
• Fluency in English, written and spoken
