Then this could be your next challenge. At OBJECT, we are looking for a Buyer to join our MAIN team, with responsibility for Denim, Jersey & Sweat.

YOUR TEAM
You will become part of a passionate and ambitious MAIN buying team, where a positive mindset and an informal working atmosphere are highly valued. Together with our Design and Pattern Design teams, you will work every day to ensure that OBJECT delivers the right products, at the right time, to our different markets and customers. In close collaboration with our suppliers, you will help drive the development of strong, commercial collections and ensure a smooth and professional buying process from idea to finished product.

YOUR ROLE
As a Buyer in our MAIN team, you will be responsible for developing and building collections in close collaboration with your colleagues. You will be in ongoing dialogue with our suppliers, where you negotiate prices, qualities and lead times, and you will take part in supplier visits as part of the collaboration. In addition, you will play an active role in collection reviews and presentations.

Your responsibilities will also include:

• Buying Denim, Jersey & Sweat for our six annual MAIN collections and two annual NOOS (Never Out Of Stock) collections
• Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with our suppliers
• Conducting fittings in close collaboration with our pattern designers
• Sourcing qualities and trims for your product categories
• Driving performance by ensuring that sustainability targets and planned KPIs are met across your product groups

YOUR PROFILE
You bring strong buying skills and a solid understanding of product, quality and pricing, and are used to working closely with the commercial side of the business. You bring drive and ideas into your work and know how to turn them into action. With a structured approach, you secure the right products while maintaining an overview, even in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and you work in a result-oriented and collaborative way in your day-to-day interactions.

We imagine you bring:

• +3 years of buying experience from the fashion industry, ideally working with either Denim, Jersey or Sweat
• Experience with supplier collaboration, quality and pricing, combined with strong negotiation skills and a solid understanding of numbers
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
