At OBJECT, we are looking for a Senior Buyer to join our MAIN buying team with responsibility for Outerwear, Tailoring and Light Woven. This is a key role within the team, where you will take ownership of your categories and play an important part in shaping collections that reflect the brand and perform across markets.
YOUR TEAM
You will become part of a passionate and ambitious MAIN buying team, where a positive mindset and an informal working atmosphere are highly valued. Together with our Design and Pattern Design teams, you will work every day to ensure that OBJECT delivers the right products, at the right time, to our different markets and customers. Working closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to strong collections and ensure alignment across development, sourcing and buying throughout the process.
YOUR ROLE
You will have the overall buying responsibility for Outerwear, Tailoring and Light Woven. You will lead the categories both commercially and strategically, ensuring the collections reflect OBJECT’s DNA and perform across markets. You ensure the right quality, pricing and supplier partnerships across the full buying process from development to delivery. As the specialist within your product areas, you collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders across the organisation. You contribute with insights, ensure alignment across functions and share knowledge that supports the overall business.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Developing and composing six annual MAIN collections and two annual NOOS collections
- Leading price negotiations, quality evaluations and delivery terms, including strategic supplier dialogue and visits
- Following up on KPIs, margin and performance, using sales data and seasonal results to plan and prepare upcoming collections
- Driving trend and sales analysis across seasons and setting the strategic direction for your product groups
- Participating in inspiration trips, supplier and customer visits, as well as collection reviews and presentations

You are an experienced Buyer from the fashion industry with strong business acumen and commercial understanding. You combine passion for fashion and trends with solid numerical skills and a sharp analytical mindset. Structured and result-driven, you think strategically across the full value chain and stay ahead of business needs. You build strong, long-term supplier partnerships and secure solid commercial results. As a role model, you set clear direction, share knowledge and drive performance. Working confidently across stakeholders, you translate insights into decisive action in a fast-paced environment.
We imagine you bring:
- Strong experience as a Buyer
- Experience with outerwear - tailoring/woven insight is an advantage
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
