At PIECES, we’re looking for a Buying Assistant to join our Jersey team. This is a hands-on administrative and coordinating role where you’ll help keep our buying processes moving, working closely with colleagues, international buying offices and suppliers to ensure that samples, orders, data and deliveries stay on track.

YOUR TEAM
You’ll join a small buying team of three within a larger product team. Together with your colleagues in Buying and Sales, you’ll help ensure that the right products are available across our markets.

We work closely across categories and functions, share information and help each other keep track of the details needed to move our collections forward. YOUR ROLE
As Buying Assistant, you’ll play an important role in the daily administration and coordination of our buying processes. You’ll follow products and orders from the administrative set-up of samples through production and delivery, making sure data is accurate, deadlines are followed and relevant stakeholders have the information they need.

Your responsibilities include:

• Providing daily administrative support to our suppliers, BESTSELLER’s international buying offices and colleagues across relevant departments
• Creating and maintaining data in our systems, placing purchase orders and following up on orders, deadlines and deliveries
• Supporting the administrative set-up of new collections and coordinating practical tasks connected to collection handovers
• Following up on sales samples, production, quality and supplier delivery performance
• Working with figures and data in your daily follow-up and using Excel and internal systems to keep processes accurate and on track

YOUR PROFILE
You enjoy a role where coordination, follow-up and attention to detail are a significant part of your day. You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with several deadlines and processes running at once, and you take pride in keeping your tasks structured and accurate.

We imagine that you:

• Have experience from an administrative or coordinating role, preferably within buying, sourcing or a similar function
• Have a good understanding of numbers and work confidently in Excel
• Work in a structured way and follow your tasks through to completion
• Pay close attention to data, details and deadlines
• Communicate confidently in Danish and English, both written and spoken
