We are looking for an experienced Buyer, who can contribute to the continuous development of our volume collections called BOOSTER & NOOS (Never Out of Stock) for Knitwear products in VERO MODA.

JOIN OUR BUYING- AND DESIGN TEAM
You will become part of a dedicated and creative team of 10 buyers and designers working together to create strong knitwear collections for VERO MODA. The team is characterized by an informal and inspiring atmosphere, where we collaborate closely to translate the latest trends into commercial products. In our Knitwear team, we value a positive and free atmosphere, so it is important that you contribute with enthusiasm and team spirit.

THE ROLE
In this role, you'll be tasked with developing and procuring knitwear products in close collaboration with our design and buying team as well as our suppliers. You'll ensure we achieve the optimal mix of styles, quality, price, and delivery, reflecting the VERO MODA DNA, values, and our customers' expectations. Drawing on your business insight and negotiation skills, you'll innovate new styles and negotiate terms regarding pricing, quality, and delivery with our suppliers. Sustainability is at the heart of our business, so you'll also work alongside our global sourcing offices to build and optimize relationships with international suppliers while staying informed about emerging qualities and market opportunities.

More specifically your tasks will among others include:

• Developing and creating collections in close cooperation with designers and suppliers
• Establishing and maintaining strong supplier relations
• Negotiating quality, price and delivery with international suppliers
• Following-up on production and deliveries
• Participating in supplier trips and visits 
• Sourcing of new qualities in close cooperation with our suppliers and sourcing offices
• Continuously ensuring high level of quality control

Qualifications:

• Education within buying
• A minimum of 2-3 years of buying experience within the fashion industry
• Experience with knitwear and/or NOOS products is considered an advantage  
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
