At VERO MODA, we are seeking passionate interns for our buying department who want to gain practical experience with the procurement processes in a dynamic and international fashion company, from ideation and design to buying and sales

BECOME PART OF A CREATIVE AND STRUCTURED TEAM
Our product groups develop cohesive collections based on the latest trends and colours, targeting the commercial end consumer. We have eight annual collections, each requiring meticulous administrative tasks to bring to life. Tasks range from creating and following up on purchase orders, maintaining close supplier relationships, to process optimization and style performance analysis. We also collaborate closely with our design and pattern design colleagues to ensure quality, fit, and price. We have several collections in play at various stages of the process, requiring us to stay ahead of the next production stages.

YOUR ROLE
As an intern in one of our product groups, you will be involved in various aspects of the collection process, including:

• Drafting and following up on purchase orders with our international suppliers
• Participating in supplier meetings and price calculations
• Tracking styles and their various price levels
• Providing feedback on product quality, washing, fit, and design in collaboration with our design team

Depending on your educational background, you may also get the opportunity to work with and delve deeper into data, contributing to process optimization.

YOUR PROFILE
We imagine you are a student of Design & Business or Marketing Management with an elective in procurement. You have a strong interest in the fashion industry and are determined to combine this interest with your professional procurement knowledge. Additionally, we hope you bring:

• Fluent English skills in both writing and speaking
• Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
• Solid numeracy and communication skills
• A structured approach to tasks and adherence to deadlines
