Are you a creative designer with the ability to convert fast-moving trends into sustainable and commercial products with the goal of developing VERO MODA’s brand together with a dedicated Knitwear team?

We are looking for a Junior Designer to support our Knitwear team in the creative development of our products and gain valuable experience within the design process. 

JOIN OUR KNITWEAR TEAM
You will become part of a dedicated and creative team of 10 designers and buyers working together to create strong knitwear collections for VERO MODA. The team is characterized by an informal and inspiring atmosphere, where we collaborate closely to translate the latest trends into commercial products. In our Knitwear team, we value a positive atmosphere, so it is important that you contribute with enthusiasm and team spirit.

YOUR NEW ROLE
As a Junior Designer, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in design and trend research while supporting the team in the creation of our knitwear collections. You play a natural part in the entire design process from idea to finished product. You will get the opportunity to experiment with both qualities, fabrics, colours and details - in general go into depth and explore both delicate and commercial knitwear designs while working in a dynamic flow with several collections at the same time. In collaboration with the rest of the team, you ensure that VERO MODA’s Knitwear products are constantly developed and optimized in relation to trend, speed and quality.

More specifically your tasks include: 

• Researching and developing trend materials
• Creating sketches and technical drawings in Adobe Illustrator
• Participating in internal meetings and brainstorming sessions with the design and buying team
• Assisting with sample comments in collaboration with designers and buyers
• Having the opportunity to take part in inspiration trips and supplier meetings

YOUR PROFILE
You have a strong sense of fashion and a desire to learn and grow in a creative and fast-paced environment. You thrive in a team-oriented setting where collaboration and communication are essential, and you have an eye for detail when it comes to design and materials. You are motivated, enjoy working at a high pace, and can juggle multiple collections at the same time.

We imagine that you:

• Have a relevant educational background in design
• Have experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Experience from a similar position is considered an advantage. 
• Are structured, curious, and eager to learn
• Are fluent in English, both written and spoken
