THE TEAM
The MAIN collection is a central part of VILA’s success, and with eight collections a year, our work is fast-paced and full of exciting opportunities. You will work closely with the rest of the design team as well as our buying and pattern design teams. We value creativity, clear communication, and strong teamwork – and we support each other across functions to bring the best ideas to life. The team is experienced, open, and always ready to help each other succeed. 

YOUR JOB
You will be part of the main team at VILA, having a central role where you help shape strong, trend-driven collections and take ideas from sketch to final product. You contribute with fresh ideas, take ownership, and bring our playful, feminine universe to life — especially through tops and dresses. A key part of your role will be to work creatively and commercially with trends, prints and colors, contributing to the visual identity of each collection.   

More specifically, your tasks include:  

• Design 8 collections a year that reflect VILA’s DNA: feminine, modern, and playful
• Translate trends into commercial styles with strong storytelling
• Create the right range plan for each collection – ensuring a balance between commercial appeal and trend focus
• Close collaboration with Buying, Pattern design, and design assistant
• Stay ahead of trends and use your interest in fashion to inspire and your team with insight and new ideas

YOUR PROFILE
You have a passion for fashion and thrive in a fast-paced environment where things can change quickly. You are creative by nature, always full of ideas, and not afraid to challenge the status quo. You have a natural ability to spot trends and turn them into stylish, commercial designs. While you work independently and with drive, you are also a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

We hope you bring the following qualifications:  

• A degree in Fashion Design or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Designer
• Strong understanding of trends, prints and colours
• A passion for designing dresses and light, feminine silhouettes
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
