At VILA Brandhouse, you will become part of an international and dynamic environment, working across our three brands, VILA, NOISY MAY and ROUGE EDIT. You will take responsibility for the process from sketch to finished product, combining your technical expertise with digital tools such as 2D, 3D and AI. 

THE TEAM  
You will be a part of a dedicated and international team with 11 colleagues of technical designers and fitting assistance. Our team is working with fit development of all product types across all collection activities at VILA BRANDHOUSE in close cooperation with buyers, designers and suppliers around the world. Our passion is to ensure that VILA BRANDHOUSE products always have the best commercial fit matching our customers’ needs. We are ambitious about our performance, and we challenge each other positively to ensure we always perform better than yesterday.    

THE JOB  
As our Technical Designer, you will play a key role in balancing creative ideas with commercial requirements. Working closely with our Design and Buying teams, you will contribute your technical expertise to the development of our products. You will help ensure that our products meet the right standards for fit, quality and workmanship, while considering the needs of our consumers and the different markets VILA Brandhouse operates in. You will also work closely with our suppliers, providing technical guidance and supporting them in meeting our standards and requirements through meetings both online and in person. 

More specifically, you will: 

• Maintain consistent fit and sizing standards across collections and suppliers
• Provide technical guidance, corrections and approvals from first sample to final production
• Commenting on fitting and design in collaboration with buyers and designers 
• Develop and improve products using digital workflows
• Contribute to integrating new digital tools and smarter ways of working in daily operations

You have a strong eye for detail, workmanship and quality, combined with a solid understanding of feminine proportions and fit. You consistently seek the best technical solutions for each garment and product group, while keeping both design and commercial requirements in mind. We imagine that you bring: 

• An educational background within Technical Design/Pattern Design and experience as a pattern/technical designer 
• Have a solid understanding of production flows and quality assurance processes
• Experience with 2D, 3D and AI is an advantage 
• Production experience and/or a strong interest in manufacturing methods 
• Communicates fluently in English, both written and spoken
