YOUR TEAM
You’ll join BESTSELLER’s Global Sourcing organisation, working closely with brand teams, suppliers and internal partners across markets. We’re a fast-moving, collaborative setup where strong relationships and clear ownership go hand in hand.
As a Merchandising Manager, you’ll lead a team of merchandisers and work closely with quality, logistics and brand stakeholders. We believe in staying close to the business, supporting each other, and continuously raising the bar – together.
YOUR ROLE
As Merchandising Manager, you take full responsibility for driving business performance within your product area. You own the merchandising process end to end – from development and sourcing strategy to production follow-up and shipment – while ensuring quality, timing and commercial goals are met.
You'll lead and develop your team, support suppliers in improving performance, and act as a key sparring partner to buyers and brand teams. When challenges arise, you step in early, find solutions and keep things moving.
Your key responsibilities include:
• Owning and driving the full merchandising process from development to shipment
• Ensuring turnover growth in line with brand strategy and agreed targets
• Leading, coaching and developing a team of merchandisers through clear direction and regular feedback
• Structuring development activities to ensure strong preparation for buyer meetings and collections
• Building and maintaining strong, professional relationships with suppliers, buyers and designers
• Monitoring supplier performance and driving continuous improvement across quality, delivery and compliance
• Supporting sourcing of new suppliers where relevant
• Handling claims and production challenges in a fast, professional and solution-oriented way
• Working closely with quality, logistics and other supporting teams to ensure smooth execution
• Travelling as required to suppliers and brand stakeholders
YOUR PROFILE
You’re a confident leader who combines structure with flexibility. You enjoy being close to the details while keeping an eye on the bigger picture. You communicate clearly, build trust easily and take pride in seeing your team succeed.
We imagine you bring:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 10+ years of solid experience within merchandising, sourcing or production management
• Solid experience in merchandising and sourcing, with leadership responsibility
• Strong understanding of product development, supplier management and production processes
• Strong business accumen and the ability to turn strategy into action
• Experience leading and developing teams through coaching and feedback
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• A proactive, ownership-driven approach to your work
